The origin of the manor
Mr. Fukuda, the farmer, is the sixth child of the family, who has been engaged in fruit and vegetable cultivation. He emigrated to Brazil with his family in the early days and is of second-generation Japanese descent. The turning point in his life came in 1983, when he visited the headquarters of Toyota, a carmaker in Japan, to learn about Toyota system, 5S and the most advanced technology management.
Then, on the advice of friends and inspired by the Japanese management process, with the desire to change their lives, they decided to buy some land to grow coffee crops. It took Fukuda only two weeks to find the Hilado area in Minas Gerais; he became the forerunner of the Hirado Coffee Plantation, which was born in 1984.
The production and quality of coffee is Bau's stubborn pursuit of coffee, so we are constantly exploring high-quality coffee, looking for new methods and technologies, as well as investment in new equipment.
