Kenyan coffee AA is the darling of professional coffee, is considered to be the best high-end cup in the world, and is loved by coffee connoisseurs all over the world. So when we brought the new limited edition Kenya AA Ruera Manor, we knew it would be special. Kenya AA Ruera Estate from Stockton Graham Coffees
However, when we tasted our freshly baked beans for the first time, we were ecstatic with the cup.
Our joy begins with aromatics. "for me, it's a complete citrus aroma, just like when you cut into a fresh orchard grapefruit and release a sweet citrus smell throughout the room," Stockton Graham Coffee roastmaster Brandon.
Imagine the fragrance coming out of your storefront every morning, attracting customers into your store, or luring customers in your restaurant to "make room" for coffee and dessert after dinner. Great coffee like our new Ruera Manor can do wonders for your bottom line: attract new customers and increase the average ticket price from $2 to $3.
And wonderful vibrant aromatic hydrocarbons are just the beginning. Ruera Manor has a complete syrup body, envelope tongue, and carries the entire tasting experience. Brandon said: "the body is a platform, variety, showing the perfect balance of coffee flavor, combining sweet, earthy essence and jujube with citrus Tang and a spicy flavor."
Kenya AA Ruera Cupping Attributes's unique single-origin coffee
Stockton Graham Coffee of Kenya AA is a single-origin coffee, which makes it unique and limited. Real estate coffee is a specific type of per unit yield coffee, usually grown on a single farm, which may range from a small plot to a large plantation. The land is one of the oldest coffee farms in Kenya because all the beans come from this farm and only a limited amount of Ruera coffee is supplied each year.
Ruera Manor is located about 24 miles from Nairobi in the town of Ruira, which is actually dedicated to growing, harvesting and milling special coffee. Those who visited the manor were immediately surprised by its unique scenery, which was relatively flat. Although most of the world's coffee farms tend to have sloping hills, Ruera Manor is located on a flat plateau above 5000 feet above sea level, which is very high for Kenya. Kenya AA Ruera Map
Rainfall at this altitude is almost 35 inches a year, distributed in two rainy seasons, resulting in two overlapping crops each year. This is the ideal condition for coffee. A coffee tree takes flowers, and it takes months of dry weather to get wet and showers. The dry season at Ruera Manor is rarely hotter than in European summer, and it is no less than 35F. It is a mild environment that allows coffee trees and coffee farm workers, like, to flourish.
There are at least five different varieties of coffee growing at Ruera Manor, each in its own plot: SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru 11 and Batian SL and K7. The fruit of these trees is harvested between November and April. The berries are washed, pulped, removed from the fruit around the beans, fermented, washed, and dried on a special raised bed. Then, they are sorted into one of the seven sizes or grades on the screen, and AA is the best.
Kenya Plateau the estate was founded in 1950 and is one of nine farms in the Kofinaf Coffee Factory. Kenya's most professional coffee is grown by small-scale farmers and cooperatives, then merged in mills and tested by Kenyan coffee boards. Kofinaf Mill is the first UTZ certified factory in the world. It is Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance registered and has verified the sale of 4C compliant coffee since 2008. This means that all factory operations are environmentally sound and are audited annually to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Administration and to meet stringent sustainability standards.
This commitment to quality may be one of the reasons why Ruera Manor produces premium coffee and why the supply of beans is limited.
