Sumatran Tiger Manning Coffee
This is not strictly called "Huang Man". Among the fully mature large pellets of raw beans purchased from small farmers in Lintong Nihuta, Siborongborong and Doloksanggul, the acquisition company has a reputation of "Sumatran Tiger" because of the strict selection of premium Manning of more than 19 mesh.

The History of Manning's Tiger
In 2009, when our Japanese head office ATAKA colleagues were looking for raw coffee beans in Indonesia, in a place where there were once Indonesian tigers, they found a fully ripe Mantenin raw bean purchased from small farmers over 19 mesh. The biggest feature of this bean is its strong and round taste, with a great aroma of Chinese traditional medicine and grapefruit. For this reason, our head office merged these small farmers to make a manor called "Tiger", and asked farmers to carry out three strict hand selections of these large particles of raw Mantenin beans to completely remove the defective beans; therefore, the price of this coffee raw bean called Mantenin "Tiger" is twice as expensive as that of ordinary Mantenin in Japan, and even more expensive than the price of golden manning coffee.
Why didn't we buy Manning Tiger in 2016?
In 2016, we have done 10 cup tests of Mantening coffee in Tiger Manor, but we have not found a satisfactory thing full of individual flavor of this coffee. This is the case with agricultural products. There are some taste and flavor this year, but not necessarily next year, because the climate (rainfall, temperature) is different from year to year, and the growth period will be different, which will affect the change of coffee taste. In addition, due to the different temperature every year, after the red fruit is processed into raw beans, the drying time will be different, and the taste and flavor of the coffee will also be different. For Jialumeng Coffee Company, what we provide to coffee lovers, it must be coffee raw beans full of personality and special flavor, which other coffee companies do not have. A special statement to our customers and us complaining about the bad taste of the 2016 Manning Tiger:
First of all, it is not the Mantenin "tiger" coffee we make, and not all Mantenin can be called "tiger" after three hand selections. Only Manning coffee produced by Tiger Manor has the taste and flavor characteristics of "tiger", which is "strong and round, with a very good aroma of traditional Chinese medicine and grapefruit". That is the real Mantenin "tiger" coffee. So it is not surprising that Mantenin's "tiger" coffee, which is famous for its big and beautiful appearance, has a bad taste in the Chinese coffee market in 2016.
