Don Julian

Country: Panamanian coffee

Region: Bogut (Boquete)

Altitude: 1650 m

Variety: Arabica

Bean seed: Pacamara

Treatment: washing

The estate, owned by Ms. HeaKyung Kang Burneskis, a Korean-American, has charming scenery and produces one of the most iconic coffees in Bogut. Located at the foot of the Baru Volcano volcano, the estate produces high-quality coffee including iron pickup, Pacamara and rose beans.

Surrounded by high mountains and cool climate all the year round, the Panamanian Coffee Manor enjoys a superior location in most of the coffee estates in Boguet.

Many years ago, most buyers in the boutique coffee industry shunned large-grain coffee such as Maragogype and Pacamara. Large-grain coffee grown in low and middle elevations usually showed a less pleasant vegetable or woody flavor. At that time, most coffee farmers had not yet tried to grow at high altitude. Knowing that Incht Manor won the Cup of Excellence championship many times with Pacamara varieties, it slowly made boutique coffee lovers realize that the original Pacamara produced at high altitude has such a rich and changeable flavor.
