Manor Introduction:

Hambera Estate is located in Guji district, one of several important trends in Ethiopian coffee development in recent years, Shakisso is a well-known example. Hambera Manor, 2,150 meters above sea level, maintains a natural balance between virgin forest and the environment. Only harvest, select fully ripe bright red cherries (this is very difficult to achieve in Ethiopia, which is dominated by smallholder systems, and generally rely on scaffolding to pick and pick). Here, the sun treatment adopts the most strict and exquisite operation, so the cherry on the trellis is only one layer thick, and the drying schedule is strictly controlled at about 18 days. The single-layer stack provides the most perfect convection and drying conditions for coffee cherries, which is known to be the most space-intensive and most detrimental to productivity. Proper slow drying can make coffee cherries develop the best water activity properly during the drying process, not only the flavor development is good, but also the storage cycle of green beans in the production season can be maintained for a longer time, but this way prolongs the time required for each batch of production. Using such a drying process, not only depends on the weather to eat, but also requires the producer to be willing to invest. Manor owners insist on coffee quality not only for us, even the third wave of European and American coffee companies such as Intelligentsia, Klach, Barrington, etc. are also the beans that will be selected every year. In March 2016, Barrington was washed with Hambela beans and got an excellent score of 96 points in Coffee Review.
