There are eight major coffee producing areas in Ethiopia: Ekempti, Limu, Illubabor, Djimma, Harrar, Teppi/Bebeka, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe. Yirgacheffe is located in the Gedeo region of southern Ethiopia. The jurisdiction of this area is well known as Yegashefi and Kochere. As the coffee produced by Yirgacheffe has a unique flavor and is widely loved, it has its own style in product classification and has always occupied a place in the global boutique coffee market. Yirgacheffe, located in Sidama province, is a small town of its own, with three small producing areas, Wenago,

Kochere and Gelena Abaya, because the flavor of the coffee produced is almost the same as that of Yega Sheffield, so Kochere is also classified as Yega Sheffield. Ethiopian coffee implemented a new trading and grading system in November 2009, with the establishment of the Commodity Exchange (ECX). Coffee and other agricultural products have been made public by this official organization, in addition to Yega Xuefei, three new by-product areas such as Wenago, Kochere and Genlena Abaya have been added, which shows that the flavor of these three producing areas is very detailed and can be subdivided. Since the implementation of the ECX system in 2008, most raw coffee beans have been sold through competitive bidding under this system.

However, Ethiopian coffee cooperatives are not under this jurisdiction, and they can directly contact buyers, negotiate prices and export.

The Kochere woreda district is very close to the town of Chalalacktu, which is one of the four sub-communities (Kochere, YirgaCheffe, Gelana Abaya and Wenago) under Yegashefi in southern Ethiopia, with elevations between 1800 and 2200 meters above sea level, and planting sites almost all above 2000 meters, which can be said to be the highest small producing area in Yegali.

There are about 750 small-scale coffee farmers, each with an average farmland area of less than 1 hectare, about 1500 coffee trees, and each tree produces cherries equal to 100-200g raw beans. Most of the farming methods of small farmers are organic, but they are not officially certified. In addition to the original lettable rice transplanted from the primeval forest to farmers, there are also some improved varieties, which are commonly referred to as Ethiopian coffee native species. After being harvested in the mountains, cherries are sent to a washing plant at a lower altitude for treatment.

The Cochelle community is a very excellent quality coffee in Yejashire, which is rich in iron soil. The coffee shows active citrus acid, floral aroma, sweet and silky taste, Yejia's unique spice flavor and complex fruit flavor. Cochell has become the first choice for coffee lovers on the bean list.
