Background:

This Brazilian green coffee bean comes from Cerrado Mineiro region in Minas Gerais state, Brazil. Fazenda Aurea is located in Alto Paranaiba, Cerrado Mineiro. The Cerrado Mineiro region has climatic conditions suitable for coffee growth and is a coffee producing area with PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certification. Alto Paranaiba is the highest part of Cerrado Mineiro and is blessed with an elevation of 1100-1200m compared to the average elevation of 800-900m in Brazil's coffee producing regions.

Fazenda Aurea has a good infrastructure, including seven coffee harvesters, covered coffee tables, dryers and huskers, capable of producing both sun-treated and semi-washed beans.
