The better, mellow and slippery it tastes.

Indonesian Sumatran coffee circulates under the name "Mandheling".

The famous coffee producing areas in Sumatra are: Aceh (Aceh), Lintong (Lindong) and Sidikalang (Sidi Garang). The famous Gayo Mountains are located in the Aceh producing area of the northern province of Sumatra, where most of the coffee farmers working in Gayo are local farmers.

The word "Gayo" comes from the tribes of Aceh in Indonesia. This area has ideal growth conditions, long history and culture and unique flavor. The region widely uses organic methods to grow coffee without chemical fertilizers, and is considered to be the world's green coffee production region. Therefore, Gayo coffee is often called green coffee and Gayo organic coffee.

Lampahan Farm, located in the Bener Meriah district of the Gayo plateau, covers an area of 500ha and has 425 registered farmers planting at an altitude of 1350-1550 m. All of the farm uses shade trees to ensure that the coffee fruit grows at the right temperature. The farm adopts the traditional Indonesian wet shelling method (Wet Pulling).

At Lampahan Farm, all coffee fruits are treated in a sustainable and organic way, certified by Organic USDA, and fair trade is promoted to protect the interests of coffee farmers.

Lampahan Farm is certified:

USDA Organic Certification (Organic USDA)

Fair Trade Certification (Fair Trade)

EU Organic Certification (EU)

In addition to the typical Mantenin flavor of this micro batch of Indonesian coffee, we are pleasantly surprised to find that it has only a very low defect rate, which is relatively rare in Indonesian wet-planed beans.

At the same time, because of its excellent bean appearance, cleaner taste and high sweetness, it has a papaya-like aroma in medium baking.
