Also impressive is Elida's unique "fresh taste", the umami taste in coffee is related to a good "aftertaste", such as a long and pleasant aftertaste after sipping, which is a delicious taste feeling.
This year, Arida Manor's washing and sun rose summer, and respectively won BOP washing, sun group first good results. This time, I brought you these two roses and two other coffees from Elida Manor, so that everyone can drink a different champion flavor at once.
Alida Manor
Elida Estate is located in the Alto Quiel Boquete region of Panama's Chiriqui province. Almost a century has passed since Robert Lamastus planted the first coffee tree at Elida Manor in 1918, and the estate is now run by Mr. Wilford, the third generation of the Lamastus family.
Elida Estate, which ranges from 1700 to 2300 meters above sea level, is partially located within Volcan Baru (VBNP), Panama Volcano National Park, a refuge for rare plants, birds and mammals. Volcan Baru National Park (VBNP) is one of the highest volcanoes in Central America, covering an area of 14000 hectares and divided into seven different climatic zones according to altitude, Elida Estate and El Burro Estate are part of it.
Elida Estate has a total of 65 hectares, of which only 30 hectares are planted with coffee varieties including Catuai, Geisha and Typica, and the rest of the area is within the VBNP protected ecological reserve. Wilford has tried to grow summer roses at altitudes above 2050 meters, and never before has coffee grown at such altitudes in Boquete.
Over the years, Wilford has refined and refined batch management, offering high-quality Elida coffee in three treatments: washed, honeyed and sunburned; roasters from around the world select their favorite microbatches of Elida coffee based on cup flavor. In 2018, Wilford made more than 450 batches of coffee, and after several batches of cup testing, we finally picked two Elida Crescents, one Catuai and one Typica.
Coffee flavor is produced in a unique climate and geographical location, Elida Manor coffee outstanding quality, there are several reasons: the estate is one of Panama's highest coffee farms, coffee grown in rich young volcanic soil, low ambient temperatures, cultivation area surrounded by clouds, can avoid direct sunlight in dry season; Wild trees in the pristine rainforest bring a lot of beneficial microorganisms, cold nights lengthen the ripening cycle of coffee trees to four and a half to six and a half years (two to four years longer than the average), and the ripening time of coffee berries is also extended by a month, all of which affect the flavor of the final coffee.

How do I make my Panama Elyda rose coffee?
Front Street Coffee Hand Brewing Reference: Weigh 15g of [Arida Manor Rose Summer] coffee powder, pour it into the grinder and grind it moderately. The ground particles are slightly thicker than salt. We use BG grinder scale 4B, water temperature 91 degrees, cake cup extraction.
The hot water in the hand-made pot draws a circle clockwise with the center of the filter cup as the center. The timing starts when brewing. The coffee is brewed to 30g in 15 seconds. Then stop filling water. When the time reaches 1 minute, fill water for the second time. When injecting water for the second time, as before, draw a circle clockwise around the center of the filter cup, and the water flow should not rush to the place where the coffee powder is connected with the filter paper, so as to avoid channel effect.
Coffee powder to the outermost circle to leave a circle, and then a circle to the middle brewing, 2 minutes and 20 seconds, coffee to 220g, brewing coffee is complete.
