The Waka Wuri processing plant is located in what can be said to be the quintessential region of the generalized Yega Sherphine region, that is, the Gedeb area (if it is classified according to the producing area of ECX, it belongs to Cocarelli Kochere).

Gedeb is located in the southeast corner of Yega Chefen, about 50 kilometers south from the town of Ye Jia Xue Fen, and 2030 meters above sea level from 1850 m up to the processing plant, which can be said to be the highest area of Ye Jia Xue Fen.

Coffee makers tend to call the area Gedeb, mainly because the largest town center in the area is named after Gedeb.

When we get here, we can be said to have reached the farthest point, and we will arrive at Worka in less than ten minutes, and the Waka Co-operative, which is doted by thousands of people, is also nearby. The village of Woka is one of 16 villages in Godibe (Kebele). To be precise, the Woka Wuri processing plant is located in an area commonly known locally as Worka-Sakaro.

The origin of the name of the Worka-Sakaro village is quite interesting. When Herselahi was still emperor, an official visited the area and found that the people in the area were very hospitable, so they called the area Worik, which means gold, and in the native language of the Gedeo, it is Worka.

And there is a huge sacred tree called Sakaro, and later generations take the local most distinctive and allusive Worka and Sakaro as place names, which are quite representative. The village of Worka-Sakaro now has 11025 residents scattered over an area of 1297 hectares.

Woka. The Wuli processing plant, one of the two existing processing plants in the village of Waka, was founded in 2012.

The meaning of high altitude (High Altitude) in the local aboriginal Gedi language (High Altitude), as the name implies, echoes its outstanding geographical location, not only located in the most essential producing area of Yega snow, but also the inherent advantage of high altitude, creating a unique and excellent flavor.
