Bolivia

Bolivia is a landlocked country in South America and the center of the ancient Inca empire. It is also one of the few countries in South America where the local language is still widely spoken. Bolivia has a variety of topography, from the peaks of the Andes to the vast saline plains, while its capital, La Paz, lies 3500 meters above sea level in the western part of the country. High altitude brings great advantages to coffee cultivation, but the Bolivian coffee industry is still weak, with an annual output of only 150000 sacks.

Copacabana

Located in the western part of the country, near Lake Titicaca. The moist air in this producing area provides excellent conditions for the growth of coffee. Lake Titicaca is also one of the highest lakes in the world, with an average annual temperature of about 10-14 degrees Celsius. This means that coffee in this producing area has the advantage of altitude and temperature in the first place.

Copacabana Manor is flanked by rivers and waterfalls, belonging to high-altitude areas. Under the climatic conditions of such a geographical location, the speed of fermentation is accelerated, so the coffee beans must be placed on the exposure bed to dry after being washed. The high dry scaffolding also avoids sundries attached to the ground and maintains good quality. The coffee garden is located in the primeval forest, a mountainous area with underdeveloped traffic, where cables were once used to transport coffee beans between valleys because there was no access. The owner of the manor focuses on improving the quality of coffee and actively participates in the construction of social infrastructure.

Located to the east of Lake Lake Titicaca is the Yungas region, a mountain range where most of Bolivia's boutique coffee is grown. Gobagabana Manor is located in the middle of the Yungas area. Lake Lake Titicaca is located 4000 meters above sea level, allowing moisture and heat to flow to the Yungas region, which creates a unique microclimate, although Bolivia has good conditions for growing high-quality coffee-such as very high elevations and mostly Typica native species. It also leads to the very delicate acidity, medium mellow thickness and deep aroma flavor of Copacabana Single Estate coffee.
