Tanzania is an East African country located south of the equator. It is located between Lake Victoria and the Indian Ocean. It borders Uganda and Kenya in the north, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi in the west, Malawi and Mozambique in the south and Zambia in the southwest. On April 26, 1964, Tanganyika merged with Shangjiba to form the United Republic of Tanzania, with Duduma as its capital. Before 1996, the old capital was located in Sanlan Port, which is still the main commercial city of Tanzania and the seat of most government offices. Sanlan Port is also the main port of Tanzania.

Tanzania's eastern coastal areas and inland lowlands have a tropical savanna climate, the western inland plateau has a tropical mountain climate, more than 20 islands in Shangjiba have a tropical marine climate, and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, is located in Tanzania.

The Tarime region is situated between the Serengeti Plain and Lake Victoria in northern Tanzania and is known for its rich rural landscape. Due to its remote location, water supply becomes difficult, leading most local coffee farmers to process coffee beans using traditional drying methods. The local cooperative tried to demonstrate that the coffee in the area could be processed in multiple ways and built a washing station in the town of Muriba. Coffee farmers began to send coffee cherries to the Muriba washing station for processing, and this processing method successfully produced a delicate, distinctive flavor, clean and refreshing taste, with fruit tones and refined tea aromas, rich floral and elegant coffee flavor.
