Las Macadamias (Manor)

Huehuetenango is a traditional coffee producing area that produces high quality coffee beans. La Macadamias of La Libertad is an experimental farm of El Injerto. It is located to the south of El Injerto and covers an area of 12.4 hectares. At an altitude of 5000 to 5800 feet.

Las Macadamias was part of El Injerto Farm, which was built in the 1890s. The farm has been separated from El Injerto and other farms for different reasons, but it has been working with the same hard work, enthusiasm and quality control.

On this farm, we try different agricultural methods, such as pruning types, fertilization, weeding and even varieties; this helps us to evaluate different methods, and if they work, we will use them for a longer period of time.

Most of the plantation is a natural mixture of Catuai and Bourbon, and only a few of the best batches are 100% Bourbon.
