Yirgacheffe is from Yirga, a small town in the northwest of Sidamo province. Yirgacheffe coffee raw bean is one of the most distinctive coffee in the world, rare and expensive. It is produced in the plateau of Ethiopia's Sidamo province (2000 meters above sea level). It is an outstanding representative of washed coffee in Africa. It has always been famous in the eyes of global coffee connoisseurs. Rare washed high-quality Elaraby plus coffee, suitable for all degrees of baking, perfectly showing a fresh and bright aroma of flowers and fruits. Gilena Ambaya is located in the middle of Lake Ambaya and Yegashafi, in a small production area east of Yegashafi, coffee beans come from local small coffee farmers and are made up of a large number of small coffee farmers from 9000 to 10000 individual coffee farmers. the average cultivation area of these small farmers is about 3.5ha, planting altitude is about 1600-2300 meters, coffee varieties are mainly a mixture of iron pickup and local native species.
This production area has 5 advanced raw bean processing plants, so it has a high level in the field of raw bean processing, with honey and citrus complex flavors of clean and sweet, praised by people. The main local production mode is that small coffee farmers send their harvested coffee red fruits directly to the processing plants of neighboring cooperatives for unified treatment.
