LA PIRAGUA
We like to work with passionate and dedicated producers such as Alexander Vargas! He planted amazing striped bourbon varieties, as well as Katila and pink bourbon. Our founder, Sasa Sestic, has been working closely with Alexander, especially in the development of CM selection coffee (including washed coffee and natural coffee). In order to achieve these results, we have been working to help fermentation and drying technologies, as well as to assist in the establishment of new drying beds to improve his ability to handle natural coffee.
When did you start growing coffee?
"Twenty-five years ago, I started growing coffee on my family farm, and since then I have been a coffee producer. They lent me a piece of land, and when my coffee tree reached the production stage, I began to save money. Five years later, I bought my own farm and planted a variety of red striped bourbon. As a coffee producer, I have experienced good and bad, but with effort, strength and determination, it is possible. I hope to grow coffee for a long time. "
