Few coffee-producing countries are as diverse in coffee quality and cup shape as Ethiopia. From the coffee in this country, you can experience the incredible quality of all kinds of flowers, fruits and plants. Subtle changes in planting conditions in the Guji region of Ethiopia have produced so many unique profiles that it can be considered a country of its own!
As a company, Sibu Trade has cooperated extensively with farmers in Guji area for more than 20 years. In order to improve market access for farmers, Siwu Coffee exporters have been operating since 2014, mainly shipping Guji coffee to importers and roasters around the world. Sibu Coffee has two washing stations in Gucci, one of which is the Guracho washing station on the west side of Kercha. Atlas has been using Gulacho WS's washed coffee and naturally processed coffee since 2015, both of which are our long-term favorites.
In 2017, Sibu Coffee bought a laundry station in the Guji district district of Hambela Wamena, near a small town called Dame Dabaye. When we first received samples of Dame Dabaye coffee, we couldn't believe how unique the shape of the coffee was, especially when compared to Guracho WS, just five hours west of Kercha. Sibu Coffee operates two baths, Dame Dabaye and Guracho, using almost the same procedures and protocols, highlighting the different origins of the two free coffees.
It is worth taking a look at our Guracho WS traceable page to learn more about Guracho Coffee and Gucci in general. The washed gulacho coffee tastes of peach, honey, lemon and rose, while Mrs. Dabaye coffee has obvious flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, hops and lemon. The natural aroma of Lady Dame Dabaye is particularly prominent, with intense citrus aromas reminiscent of marmalade, guava and pineapple. Providing Mrs. Dabaye and Gulacho coffee side by side will be a wonderful display of the unique diversity that Gucci has to offer.
