The word "coffee" comes from the Greek word "Kaweh", which means "strength and passion". In the West, drinking coffee has long been an indispensable element and social means in life. Therefore, the small-grain coffee cultivated here is strong but not bitter, fragrant but not strong, well-proportioned, mellow and fruity, so it is recognized as the best producing area of small-grain coffee.
For more than a century, coffee and Baoshan people have formed an inextricable bond. People in their eighties and nineties and teenagers all have the habit of drinking coffee. In Baoshan, there is not only the mellow aroma of small grains of coffee, but also the ethnic customs with Yunnan characteristics. When the fresh coffee fruit is ripe, in the picturesque coffee garden, the local Lisu women in Baoshan, dressed in colorful national costumes, sing melodious Lisu folk songs and pick ruby-like coffee beans. The original meaning of the word "Kaweh", "strength and enthusiasm", is naturally presented here.
Baoshan in Yunnan Province has a dry and hot valley climate, which creates good conditions for coffee growth, while being located on the plateau contributes to the quality of coffee grown here, and even Starbucks can not resist the temptation of strong coffee.
Coffee also has higher requirements for the growing environment. Coffee originally grew in tropical Africa, has many varieties and different tastes, and is harsh on geographical location.
