Front Street-introduction to Columbia's Linglong Coffee
Na Linglong, located in southern Colombia and adjacent to Ecuador to the west, is one of the three major producing areas in southern Colombia. It has always produced high-quality coffee, rich fruit acidity, good sweetness, medium thickness taste and full nut characteristics. Because of Nalinglong's unique geographical environment, near the equator, high mountain areas, Nalinglong's average planting altitude is higher, reaching about 2000 meters. Higher elevations accumulate more sugar during its growth cycle, and these sugars and organic acids eventually form the unique acidity and sweetness of coffee in this region.
The word "Na Linglong" actually means the transliteration of the producing area of Narino, Colombia. All the coffee produced in this producing area can be called Na Linglong coffee, and some coffee from Na Linglong producing area will give up the too general title because they have given up their own name and appear on the market alone under their own name.
For example, model raw coffee from Narino province is carefully selected from specific small estates or farms in Nalinglong producing area, and coffee beans of the best quality and Supremo grade are selected manually. Because of these strict screening mechanisms, the annual output of model raw coffee is only about 6000 packets of coffee, accounting for only about 4% of Narino producing areas. (the whole Nanino province produces about 150000 packets of coffee per year) These coffee beans are the essence of the Narino production area, and the processing process is strictly monitored by Raminita's Costa Rican European Standard (Costa Rican Europrep standards). The quality is extremely stable.
