Collection & Screening

The coffee berries are hand-picked to weed out poor quality and defective berries.

Peeling/beating

As with other treatments, the coffee berries need to be processed as soon as possible after picking, and within 8 to 12 hours they are sent to a peeling/beating and peeling machine, which removes the peel and pulp parts of the coffee berries.
