The world-famous Yega Sheffei producing area, formerly a small town in the Sidamo producing area, is a local distribution center and transportation center for collecting coffee beans. The town of Yejasuffe is at a high altitude, ranging from 1750 to 2400 meters. Many coffee villages grow and produce coffee on this plateau, making it the highest coffee-producing area in the country.

Yega Chuefei sun-treated Arica coffee is produced at the Kebel Aricha processing plant, where there are about 650,700 small coffee farmers who send the ripe berries to be processed in exchange for cash. After screening, the treatment plant selects the available berries and directly places the coffee cherries on the scaffolding for exposure. In the first few days of drying, they will be manually turned every 2-3 hours to prevent the coffee cherries from overfermentation.

After 4-6 weeks of sun exposure, workers will use machines to scrape off the outer flesh of coffee beans and transport them to Addis Ababa for storage, depending on the weather and temperature. Usually sun-treated beans are stored in the form of shell beans and will not be shelled until the raw beans are exported to ensure the quality of the raw beans.

The defect rate of Arica in this batch is relatively low according to the raw beans treated by the sun, and the aroma is very explosive. Dry aroma shows a strong berry aroma, you can feel the sweetness similar to candy. When the coffee is imported, you can feel a touch of wine and freshness. There is also a very prominent citrus aroma, very comfortable sweet and sour feeling, the tail rhyme is like the concentrated essence of the last point of candied fruit candy, full of happy and innocent feeling.
