Neri is a delightful town in the foothills of Aberdale with vast green meadows and gardens. The foothills are covered with dense eucalyptus forests, and the magnificent Mount Kenya can be seen in the northeast. Most of the surrounding areas are used for agriculture. Coffee and tea are important cash crops.

Nyeri is located in the highlands of central Kenya, between the Abadre Mountains and the southwest slope of Mount Kenya (extinct volcano).
The volcanic soil in this area breeds the best Kenyan coffee.
Altitude: 1200-2300 m
