Blue Volcano Manor is one of the few boutique estates in Costa rica. it is located next to Mount Ilasu in central Costa Rica, which is also the highest active volcano in Costa Rica, 3432 meters above sea level. Its most famous event has to be said that its eruption in 1963 lasted until 1965. But the combination of its volcanic ash and fertile soil provides high-quality production conditions for the growth of high-quality coffee.
A hundred years ago, the Kahle family in Mexico and the local Alejo family began under such a prerequisite: to grow and cultivate the best coffee in the world! Founded Blue Volcano Manor and after a hundred years of sedimentation Blue Volcano Manor Coffee has won the first place in C.O.E. Now the sixth generation Alejo Castro manages the manor, mainly producing micro-batch varieties, picking coffee fruits by hand and selecting them again by hand, leaving only the ripe bright red parts. In addition to improving the quality of coffee, the manor owner is more aware of the importance of ecological conservation and bought more than 1500 acres of rainforest!
