Brief introduction of Manor
In 2005, with the popularity of the Costa Rican microprocessing plant (Microbeneficio), Mr. R é gulo also set up its own processing plant and named it the Rivas Rivense del Chirrip ó after the neighboring town of Rivas, about 15 kilometers from Costa Rica's highest peak, Chilipo (3820 meters above sea level).
Cafe Rivense del Chirrip ó is a self-owned processing plant of the Ure ñ a Rojas family. The raw bean treatment is 100% sunny and dry without the help of a dryer.
Treasure Manor covers an area of 10 hectares, of which the coffee planting area is about 5 hectares, and the remaining 5 hectares are used as protected areas. The family currently owns four manors, all of which belong to miniature estates of less than 10 hectares, with less production and easier to work slowly.
A large number of native tree species are preserved in the garden, and many fruit trees are planted, which can not only increase economic benefits, but also help birds and other animals survive. Mr. R é gulo, a big parent of the manor, believes that biodiversity can bring sustainable development to the land.
In addition to adhering to the eco-agricultural law, he spared no effort to protect water resources and won the Ecological Blue Flag Award (Ecologic Blue Flag award) for four consecutive years.
The second generation of brothers, Ricardo and Esteban, have also joined the production line, with young people bringing new ideas and conducting more innovative experiments. At the end of the harvest season, the two brothers went international and came to Taiwan. (the picture was taken in the warehouse of our raw bean trading partner Linking Coffee)
The so-called honey treatment degree refers to the "pectin layer browning and fermentation degree", in which white honey is the shallowest and closest to water washing treatment (also known as mechanical washing), while black honey is the deepest honey treatment, and the risk and difficulty are also the highest. good black honey not only has a rich taste of honey, but also has some fermented aroma from the sun.
