Flavor and introduction of Coffee producing area in Minas and Minas Southeast Mountain Forest region of Southern Brazil

Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Sul De Minas, south of Minas, is the main coffee growing place for Bulgarian sommeliers. Historically, it is the birthplace of large quantities of coffee production in Brazil, which is an ideal place to produce high-quality coffee. There are many generations of small farmers here. Perhaps for this reason, there are more cooperatives in the region. Most of them are small farms, but it is still a good place for industrialization.

Minas del Sur

Sul De Minas is the main coffee growing area for Bulgarian tasters, historically the birthplace of Brazil's large coffee production, and an ideal terroir for producing quality coffee. There are many generations of smallholders here. Perhaps for this reason, there are more cooperatives in the area. Although mostly small farms, it is still a well-industrialized area that has been harvested mechanically. Certain areas of the region have attracted more attention recently, such as Carmo de Minas, located around Carmo village, where producers use soil and climate to grow coffee.

Southeast Forest Region of Minas

The coffee industry in Matas De Minas developed very early and became very rich from coffee and dairy products between 1850 and 1930. Although a slight shift has begun in recent years, 80 per cent of agricultural revenues still come from coffee.
