Located south of the equator in East Africa, Uganda and Kenya to the north and Luanda and Polondi to the west, Mount Kilimanjaro is located in the northeast of Tanzania, 5895 meters above sea level, the highest mountain in Africa, known as the "roof of Africa".

Uru North, a joint venture of three villages, is located at an altitude of about 1400 meters above sea level in the rural area of Moshi on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, and is rich in forest resources. The main varieties of coffee are Bourbon and kent, which have been preserved since the early 1900s.

The average area of each farm is less than 1 acre, and the tree density is about 500 trees per acre. All farms use intercropping, growing coffee and other crops in the same place so that the crops can interact with each other; the most common intercropping crops are bananas, avocados and other legumes.

At the beginning of the annual harvest season, farmers use manual pulpers to peel and pulp the harvested coffee cherries at home, and the processed raw coffee beans are then transported to the Rafiki dry treatment plant in Moshi for final treatment.
