Macho, located at a high altitude in the Tarazhu producing area, is run by the Naranjo family. The Naranjo family has grown coffee beans for more than 30 years. Seven years ago, due to the rise of micro-processing plants, the son of the Naranjo family, Efoine, was able to build his own processing plant in the St. Rose Zone. Marcho Manor has always adopted the traditional treatment (sun, water washing), although the general Costa Rican coffee treatment has gradually adopted the new ─ yellow honey and natural treatment, the estate still adheres to the tradition. This batch of coffee beans are treated in the sun, which is the most traditional and ancient treatment, allowing raw beans to naturally dry in the pulp and absorb the essence of the fruit, so it is fruity, sweet and mellow.
The Saint Rose processing Plant (Santa Rosa), owned by Marcho Manor, was built in 2009 and is located in one of the high-altitude growing areas of Costa rica. It handles the coffee beans of the four estates of the Naranjo family, ─ Marchu Manor, Trapiche Manor, Jelista Manor and Praza Manor (one of which belongs to neighbors). Due to the fact that Machu Manor is located at high altitude and the climate is affected, the coffee beans are solid. With tropical fruit aromas, toffee and peanut sweetness.
