On April 11-14, 2013, the annual event of the American Fine Coffee Association was held in Boston, in which Mr. Pete Licata of Parisi Artisan Coffee Company from Kansas City, Missouri won the 2013 American barista contest. 6th: in Charlie Habegger, Intelligentsia Coffee, Chicago and IL competitions, contestants make 12 cups of coffee within 15 minutes: 4 cups of espresso coffee, 4 cups of cappuccinos coffee and 4 cups of personal creative coffee. In the process of making, the judges explain their own coffee, and seven judges, including a referee, two technical judges and four sensory judges, carefully judge the contestants' coffee. Pete Licata will represent the United States in the finals of the 2013 World baristas Competition to be held in Melbourne, Australia, May 23-26, 2013.
