Today's consumer market is full of assembly lines, mass production and indifference. While we enjoy a large number of low-cost manufactured goods to bring us a fast life, at the same time, we also lose some of the usual "human feelings" and less intimacy.

Is it possible to break the situation? Can we provide something more humane and humane to the current market?

With this question, I searched many cafes in many places, but there was no answer. Until I opened the door of Soloist Cafe.

Soloist means "soloist", which is a very ingenious interpretation of the concept of the shopkeeper. Just imagine, while providing guests with a cup of coffee, it can convey the personal spirit that the cafe pours into each production process.

Hand-selected original coffee beans, independent small batch baking, hand-controlled brewing … Between a cup of finished coffee and raw beans, there is only one person's independent will. To put it in an exaggeration, this is not a kind of consciousness exchange between a barista and a coffee drinker, and coffee is only a medium here.

Soloist's installation style attempts to restore the style of the industrial age from the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century. In the tall Loft-style space, iron, wood, copper, glass and other materials coexist, while church chairs, industrial lights, mechanical clocks, globes and other antiques are wrong. These old things of the industrial age all represent the spirit of human beings constantly exploring the world with wisdom. Surrounded by these old things, we try to give the guests in this space a perspective of withdrawal and observation, think about ourselves and then think about the civilization of this era.

Maybe handmade coffee or industrial equipment is not the focus here, what Soloist really brings to you is a kind of thinking about humanities.
