Each contestant has 15 minutes to make four espresso, four cappuccino and four espresso based coffee creations. The judges will judge the contestants in terms of the use of coffee equipment, the blending of coffee beans, the skills of making coffee, the taste and appearance of the finished coffee, and the creativity of creative coffee.

The contest requires each contestant to make two identical hot lattes or macchiato lattes, two identical hot macchiato espressos, and two identical milk and coffee-based drinks in eight minutes using only milk and coffee as ingredients, using an espresso machine and coffee cups, and to choose any tool or ornament to decorate the surface of the drink.
