What is the coffee cup test? why is the coffee cup test?
Coffee cup test preparation items:
1) a table;
2. Several cup test tables, 1 copy/person.
3. Samples for testing, at least 4-5 kinds of raw beans and cooked beans;
4. tablespoons;
5. About 12 wide-mouth glasses;
6. Hot boiled water;
7. Garbage basket;
Coffee cup test steps:
1. Put the coffee beans on the table first with a basin (4 kinds of raw beans and cooked beans), and place the glass in four positions;
2. Smell the taste of each kind of raw beans and cooked beans first. When smelling beans, pick up the basin containing beans with both hands, put it on the edge of the nose and smell the taste of each kind of beans. Smell whether the raw beans are moldy and smell the fragrance of cooked beans.
3. Put the ground powder into cups respectively, and then quietly pour boiling hot water into each cup. After pouring hot water, take a moment to adjust your mood, and then stir the powder in each cup with a spoon.
But remember to wash the spoon with boiling water after each cup. Before washing a spoon, smell the smell on it and predict what it will taste like.
After the coffee powder precipitates, observe its solubility.
Smell the taste of each cup of coffee, if the smell is soft and aromatic, it represents good coffee; and if there is a smell of earth, or a smell of medicine, or even the presence of other odors, the taste is naturally not good. When trying to smell, don't put your nose directly on the coffee solution, but smell it from the rising steam and aroma.
6. Start the cup test. Never drink the coffee liquid when you try the cup, but put it in your mouth. If you drink it, no matter how much you rinse, the taste of the coffee you drank before will remain deep in your mouth, making it impossible for you to correctly grasp the taste of the coffee you will test next. The test cup method is to scoop out the coffee liquid from the cup with a spoon first, and then drink hot soup as much as possible, and then put the coffee liquid by the tongue against the front teeth to judge its smell, and then let the coffee liquid circle in the mouth, chew its taste, spit the coffee liquid contained in the mouth into the garbage basket, and then put the spoon into the originally prepared warm water to wash; Start the next cup test. Note, don't just try a cup will arbitrarily draw conclusions, it is best to repeat the test several times, try in the hot, warm, cold, re-boiled when the taste, some coffee slightly cold, it will appear sour
