Tolima is close to huila and cauca, and is a destination where many coffee-producing pilgrims have to make up their minds. The road conditions here are not ideal. Some people who have visited tolima all describe the bumpy journey in their travels.
Tolima farms are generally slightly larger than other southern Colombia farms, ranging from 10 to 15 hectares.
