Papua New Guinea established itself as a boutique coffee brand in 1937 when bourbon was first grown in the Blue Mountains. This coffee is cultivated on small coffee farms located in alpine areas, which have natural environments similar to those of the Blue Mountains in Jamaica.

Papua New Guinea coffee is dry and sweet, with a subtle sour taste. Compared with coffee from Indonesia and Java, it has a lighter texture and an aroma that is not inferior to the acidity of coffee from Central and South America.
