two。 Long and thin mouth Arabian pot, because to control the flow of hot water, this long thin mouth Arabic pot is the first choice.

3. Coffee grinder, preferably the kind that can be adjusted to grind the powder, or the most basic type of hand-held type.

4. Coffee beans are served in a ladle.

5. Filter and filter paper (filter try not to buy one that can brew too many people at a time, it is best to brew only three people at a time, this is to avoid brewing coffee to lose temperature too much, filter paper should not buy bleached, preferably primary color filter paper.

6. Heat-resistant glass kettle

7. Beautiful coffee cups

Starting to make coffee...

one。 For selected coffee beans, we generally choose a coffee pot of 2 to 3 cups as the best, so we can use 8oz dipper to measure about 3 tablespoons of coffee beans equal to 22~24oz, and use a hand grinder to grind the powder. if it is an electronic grinder, it is recommended to adjust the grinding scale to 3.5 to 4. Coffee powder is required not to be too thick or too fine. Of course, if there is ready-made vacuum-packed Mantenin coffee powder on the market.

two。 First use a heat-resistant glass kettle than the first-class engraved water, as for the induction cooker to boil. Stand by and keep the water boiling.

three。 The filter paper is refolded along the riding seam and affixed to the filter.

four。 Pour the ground coffee powder into the filter paper, gently push the surface of the coffee powder flat with your hand, and dig a small hole in the center of the surface with a spoon. (some people like to soak the filter paper before pouring the coffee powder. I personally do not soak the filter paper to avoid hot water burning the coffee powder before brewing.)

five。 After the water is boiled, the heat should be 100 degrees, so immediately pour the boiling water into the Arab hand pot, then close the lid, after this procedure, the water temperature has dropped to 91 degrees, (so you do not need to use the thermometer at all. This is my experience. Then slowly inject water into the small hole that has just been dug in advance, and then circle outward in the direction of the clock, at this time the coffee powder will swell up, and the water injection can be stopped after the coffee powder drips a few drops. (this is called steaming)

six。 The steaming time is generally 30 seconds. During this period, the kettle continues to keep it warm at 91 degrees. After steaming, the coffee powder surface will sink at the same time, that is, the second water injection will still be based on the center point just now, making a circle in the direction of the clock. Slowly inject water to the outermost, and then circle back once from the outermost to the central point to stop the water injection. When the coffee powder surface sinks again, carry out the third water injection, repeat the previous action, and stop when you reach the capacity of one cup. (if the bottom of the filter is an opening, in addition to steaming, only need to inject water once more to the capacity of a pot)
