Yunnan rose summer coffee cultivation history is not long, the first batch of Yunnan rose summer planting research is about 2012. Green top coffee belongs to the best grade of raw beans among Rosa coffee beans. Rosa cultivars grown in Central and South America may be able to trace their genealogy to T2722, originally marked by Costa Rica's CATIE.
But interestingly, the situation in each coffee farm is different, and cross-pollination may occur. In addition, not every manor's rose summer seed comes from CATIE, it may be traded between manor and manor.

There is no clear study on whether the Panamanian Rosa variety is T2722.
After Yunnan rose to fame in the later period, other Yunnan estates said they also planted some Yunnan rose coffee beans with seeds from the Panamanian jade estate.
No matter which estate it comes from, according to the available data, Yunnan Rosa coffee beans may come from Panama. But it does taste very different from Panamanian rosy summer coffee.
Panamanian rose coffee tastes good, one is because it is planted at a very high altitude and the climate is very complex, so if the rose summer varieties want to survive in the region, they have to constantly improve their genes, so they accidentally bump into exquisite and charming flavors. At the same time, rose summer is also a delicate variety, which needs shade trees to block the direct sunlight.
At present, most of the coffee in Yunnan is planted in direct sunlight, but the intensity of sunlight is not as strong as that in Central and South America, at the same time, the altitude is not as high as that in Central and South America, the climate is warm, and the temperature difference between day and night is small. Therefore, the rose summer coffee here can be said to grow very freely and is relatively easy to mature.
Good coffee flavor is inseparable from the varieties of genes, soil, climate, altitude, and the rose summer coffee grown at a relatively low altitude. Because of the local climate, the taste is not as delicate and rich as that of Panama, showing the sour quality of Brin, the sweet and sour of berries and the taste of nuts and brown sugar.
In order to improve the mellow taste of Yunnan coffee, most of them are extracted and dried by anaerobic solarization. After proper aseptic fermentation, it can bring more fermented flavor to coffee beans, increase the alcohol thickness of coffee, and the way of sun exposure can also make coffee beans more sweet.
