Burundi (Pulongdi) is a small and beautiful landlocked country, located at the intersection of Central Africa and East Africa, the watershed between Africa's great Nile and Congo River. in Pulong, you can see the magnificent Lake Tanganyika, which forms its natural border with Congo and Tanzania. it is full of mountains and dramatic changes in elevation. the lowest elevation of the country is more than 700 meters (772m), which is located in Lake Tanganyika. The highest point is 2670 m, which is located in Heha Mountain. The changeable terrain and the high altitude of coffee planting form the characteristics of outstanding aroma and complex flavor. Most of the coffee grown in Pulong is Arabica and most of them are bourbon, which belongs to the type of sweet aroma and excellent acidity in flavor. The main coffee producing areas are Mumirwa, Buyenzi and Kirimiro.
This batch of Pulongdi comes from Mumirwa District, at an altitude of more than 1500 meters, the aroma is very full, the aroma of flowers and tea is overflowing, not only has the typical rich aroma of East Africa, but also presents a complex and changeable taste and spice in the sipping flavor, the greasy feeling of body is very slippery, and the aroma of the nose and the aftertaste after sipping all last for a long time!
