About Morgan Manor
Morgan estate is located in Panama's highest peak known as the "Baru volcano" southwest, the estate area of about five hectares, an average of two thousand coffee trees per hectare. Because of the plant's growth characteristics and planting philosophy, only some coffee trees can produce coffee berries every season. Coffee fruits are carefully sorted and processed, and only a small amount of coffee beans can be circulated to the market.
Morgan Manor is affected by both Atlantic monsoon climate and Pacific monsoon climate. The micro-climate in the park is rich and changeable, with large temperature difference between day and night. The ripening period of coffee fruit is delayed, the development of coffee fruit is more complete, and the sweetness is also improved. Due to the high altitude, the terrain in the estate is mainly mountainous, and coffee is planted on steep slopes, which increases the difficulty of managing coffee trees and harvesting fruits. For coffee tree management, if a tree is found to be infested, the estate will remove the whole tree and renovate the soil to isolate the disease and protect other healthy coffee trees.
This kept Morgan's green bean prices high in the market, and customers were basically baristas competing in the coffee industry. These top baristas believe that a good cup of coffee can be decided from the time it is coffee, green beans or even seeds. Like the rose at Morgan Park, the beans are predestined for a special cup later.
Morgan Family Farms is an award-winning producer of high-altitude Rosedale Coffee located in a deep valley in the Panama Highlands. Juan David Morgan, owner of the farm, is a writer.
Morgan Manor is situated between 1,700 and 1,780 meters above sea level, in an isolated, leafy valley where a river runs through, waterfalls pour down steep stone walls, and rainbows emerge at the intersection of sunlight and dusk. The rosewood seeds were planted in the twilight shade, next to one side of the valley.
Morgan Manor, like Deborah, picked coffee carefully, leaving only the well-picked fruit and picking it only at noon, so that it could be processed at the most appropriate time, and each bag of fruit was packed in a clean bag. The main crop is the green-label summer, with a few other varieties planted with the red-label summer, but all marked on trees and kept in strict batches.
Coffee trees are cared for and pruned with absolute care, with minimal fertilizer and almost no chemical fertilizer.
Morgan Manor produces washed and sunburned summer roses. Greenhouses and drying sheds were set up so that the sun treatment of the beans could be strictly monitored and controlled within the ideal temperature and humidity range.
They set a timer for manual tanning every 30 minutes. Around these greenhouses is a nursery with 100 baby roses. Each tree species is selected from pre-selected washed beans, germinated in sterile sand, and then planted in slightly larger than normal pottery pots.
Flavor Description Reference: Rose aroma, grape, lychee, grape, lychee and dark berry flavors, multi-layered sour and sweet vibration.
