The summer of the Morgan family

About Morgan Manor.

Morgan Manor is located in the southwest of the Baru volcano, which is known as the highest peak in Panama. It covers an area of about five hectares, with an average of 2,000 coffee trees per hectare. Because of the growth characteristics and planting concept of plants, only some coffee trees can produce coffee fruits every season. The coffee fruit is carefully re-selected and processed, and in the end only a small number of coffee beans can be circulated to the market.

Morgan Manor is also affected by the Atlantic monsoon climate and the Pacific monsoon climate, the micro-climate in the park is rich and changeable, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the ripening period of coffee fruit is delayed, the development of coffee fruit is more complete, and the sweetness is also improved. Due to the high altitude, the terrain in the manor is mainly mountainous, and coffee is planted on steep hillsides, which increases the difficulty of coffee tree management and fruit harvest. For the management of coffee trees, if a tree is found to be infected with insect pests, the manor will remove the whole tree and renovate the soil to protect other healthy coffee trees from diseases.

This keeps the price of raw beans at Morgan Manor at a high level in the market, and the customers are basically baristas participating in competitions in the coffee industry. These top baristas believe that whether it can be a good cup of coffee has been decided from the time when coffee or raw beans or even seeds. For example, the rosy summer of Morgan Manor is destined to be a special cup in the future when the beans are born.

The Morgan family farm is the award-winning producer of the high-altitude rose summer coffee competition, located in the deep valleys of the Panamanian highlands. Juan David Morgan, the farm owner, is a writer.

Morgan Manor is situated at an altitude of 1700 Murray 1780 meters above sea level. In an isolated, leafy valley, a river runs through the valley, waterfalls pour down steep stone walls, and rainbows stand at the junction of sunlight and dusk. The rose trees are planted in the twilight shade, next to one side of the valley.

Morgan Manor, like Deborah, strictly selects fully ripe coffee fruit in picking, leaving only the picked fruit, and only picked at noon, so that it can be processed at the most appropriate time, and each bag of fruit is packed in a clean bag. It mainly produces green standard rose summer, and a small number of other varieties are planted with red standard rose summer, but all of them are marked on the tree and keep strict batches.

Coffee trees are absolutely carefully taken care of and pruned, with minimal fertilizer and almost no chemical fertilizer.

Morgan Manor produces washing and sun roses in summer. They set up greenhouses and drying sheds so that the processing of beans in the sun can be strictly monitored and controlled within the ideal range of temperature and humidity.

They will set a timer and turn the sun by hand every 30 minutes. Around these greenhouse houses is a nursery with 100 baby roses. Each tree is selected from pre-selected water-washed beans, cultivated and germinated in aseptic sand, and then planted in a slightly larger pottery basin than the normal size.
