Introduction to the cultivation of Coffee in Jadeite Manor
Located on the outskirts of Pokuit, southwest of Panama, the Jade Manor was built as a comprehensive farm. Growing coffee is only part of the overall economic activity of the farm. Other projects include raising dairy cattle and growing oranges. When it comes to the Emerald Manor, what has attracted worldwide attention is that at the end of the 20th century, the owner of the farm, the Peterson family, stumbled upon a coffee variety with great potential: GEISHA, which has been carefully cultivated and planted. Since 2004, this variety has won a series of championships in coffee competitions for several years in a row, which has made Feicui Manor the king in the coffee market all over the world.
2002 was a turning point for Emerald Farm because of Mr. Peterson's youngest son, Daniel Peterson Daniel. Peterson believes that the coffee produced in the two areas of the whole Jadeite Farm (two major areas of coffee cultivation in the manor-the original Jadeite Manor in the southwest of Boquete and the new Jaramillo production area in 1996) has always been harvested and mixed for sale. Although the overall quality evaluation is good, it is not necessarily the same quality and flavor. The extremely elegant citrus fruit aroma and sweetness should come from the flavor of some excellent coffee on the farm. So he began to test and compare the cups of each planting area in the garden one by one, and finally found the coffee collected by these tall and thin coffee trees with low yield in the valleys of the higher elevations in the Jaramillo park, and the cup test showed excellent flavor. After several inquiries, it was found that these varieties born at high elevations and low temperatures were later famous-GEISHA (Geisha) ~ 2004 Emerald Manor participated in the Best of Panama-BOP cup test competition with these special coffees. Geisha's unique aroma and saturated taste amazed the judges at the meeting, winning the title of "Best Coffee in Panama" and setting USD at auction that year. $21 dollars a pound ($21 per pound) history! This competition made the geisha coffee of the Jade Manor get great attention from the boutique coffee industry! Continued 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, all won the BOP crown.
Other award-winning records of the Jade Manor:
American Fine Coffee Association (SCAA) Cup Test Champion (2007, 2006, 2005)
American Fine Coffee Association (SCAA) second Coffee of the year (2009, 2008)
Panama Best Coffee (Best of Panama) Champion (2010, 2009, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004)

The relationship between Jadeite Manor and Diamond Hill
From winning the championship in 2004 to the independent auction in 2008, the record of sky-high price is innumerable. In recent years, in addition to the glowing and glowing top products, the manor has also launched a lot of approachable raw bean styles, one of which is the Dia-mond Mountain series we introduced this year. The Emerald Manor Diamond Hill Series (Dia-mond Mountain) is planted on the slopes on the outskirts of the Pokuit producing area on the right side of the Balu volcano, Canas Verdes and Jaramillo, at an altitude of about 1400-1700m. The coffee grown in this area is mainly Typica, Bourbon and Catuai. The volcanic soil in this area is an excellent place to grow coffee, and the primeval forest also provides sufficient shade for coffee trees. The coffee raw bean produced has rich and complex fruit aroma, chocolate and fresh spice flavor. In addition to producing high-quality raw coffee beans, Emerald Manor Diamond Hill also continues to pursue sustainable management methods and practice. The whole park has the certification of the Rainforest Alliance to ensure that the habitats of birds and wild animals will not be destroyed by man-made. The waste water is also recycled during the post-production of raw beans, and the quality of the water source of Quanbao is clean and sound, and it is shaped into a self-sufficient coffee farm ecosystem.
