Introduction of Madina Manor Finca Medina
Founded in 1842, Medina Manor, located on the outskirts of Antigua, covers an area of 74 hectares and produces pure Antigua coffee. At Medina Manor, its coffee production and processing processes, while using high-tech and traditional technologies, are inclusive in response to the commitment to environmental sustainability, maintain the production of high-yield and high-quality coffee, take care of staff well-being and concern for the environment. Since 2000, Madina Manor has been a member of the National Coffee Association and the Antigua Coffee producers Association, which meets environmentally sustainable production standards and supports and supports the improvement of household goods working on the estate, giving the estate a number of certifications, including Rainforest Alliance certification and UTZ certification (delicious coffee and proper treatment of producers).

The main varieties planted in Medina are Bourbon, Kaddura and Pacas. Considering the conditions of excellent production, these varieties are characterized by floral and chocolate flavors, and show good balance, pure thickness, aftertaste and acid value. During the coffee harvest from November to April each year, farmers use hand selection to ensure that each coffee cherry is picked at the best time point, peeled and placed in a fermentation tank on the same day. Coffee is screened and sorted according to density using the traditional washing method to select the best beans.
