About the Cocatu Cooperative
Cocatu is a cooperative located in the town of Tumba in the Rulindo mountains of northern Rwanda, 1820 meters above sea level. But in fact, the coffee fruits sent here for follow-up processing are all agricultural products bred by the surrounding mountains of more than 2000 meters.
Cocatu is one of the few cooperatives that still exist in Hong Kong. The reason for the failure to prosper in the past is not the quality of coffee or the efforts of farmers, but the lack of good operational management to control the opening.
And raise the wages of the workers. The good news is that there has been a buyer for the past five years who is willing to pay a higher price for high-quality coffee beans here.
