What's the difference between sunburned and washed snow?

Product: Ethiopia washed Ye Jia Xue Fei G1 Jin Lei Na An Ba Ya Town Xi Lin Jia Village LOT6

(Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Gelana Abaya Silinga #6 washed G1)

Introduction:

Gelana Abaya is a small growing area located in Lake Abaya to the west and Yega Shefi to the east. The coffee beans harvested come from locally grown coffee farmers. It is composed of a collection of 9,000 to 10,000 individual coffee farmers. The average cultivation area of these small farmers is about 3.5 hectares. The cultivation altitude is about 1,900 to 2,000 kilometers. The coffee varieties are mainly a mixture of Typica and Heirloom (native species). Due to trends that can be tracked in the global coffee market production history, local production will be subdivided into villages or tribal blocks to present flavor personalities.

This batch of washed Yegashefi G1 Jinrena Ambaya Town Silinga Village LOT6 is rated as G1 by ECX, specially produced by Silinga Village, a small production area, and also marked as the sixth production batch, which shows how much attention is paid to the quality control of product production.

This batch was produced by Wonderwossen Alemayehu processing plant, which has a high level of performance in the field of green bean processing and is praised for its clean sweetness with honey and citrus complex tones. The main mode of production is that small coffee farmers harvest red fruit from each harvest and send it directly to the processing plant of the neighboring cooperative for unified processing. After screening and grading the red cherry colored coffee fruits, the processing plant directly removes the floating unseeded coffee fruits with water, picks up the red cherry colored coffee fruits at the bottom, and then removes the skin and washes the beans. After placing them on the shelf for natural exposure, the humidity reaches 12% or less, and they will be sent directly to the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) warehouse in Awassa. Cup classification and quantity The beans that are normally washed are stored in the form of shelled beans and are not shelled until they are exported. Flavor Description: White flowers, litchi, brown sugar, sweet lemon, peach, coffee berry, full flavor, smooth taste.

Yirgacheffe is located in the Gedeo region of southern Ethiopia, which is better known as Yirgacheffe and Kochere. Yirgacheffe coffee is unique in flavor, style and popularity, so it is unique in product classification and has always occupied a place in the global fine coffee market. Yirgacheffe, located in Sidama province, is itself a small town, adjacent to three small producing areas Wenago, Kochere and Gelena Abaya, because the flavor of coffee produced is almost the same as Yirgacheffe, Gelana Abaya is also drawn into the regional classification of Yirgacheffe. Ethiopia implemented a new trading and grading system in November 2009. In addition to Yegashefi, Wenago, Kochere and Genlena/Abaya were newly added. It can be seen that the flavors of these three producing areas are extremely detailed and can be subdivided.
