This washing microbatch is produced by Henry Hernandez Padilla and treated at the local well-known Houkou River treatment Plant (Rio Jorco Micromill). He owns a three-hectare farm, Finca Los Pinos, in Santa Cruz, Tarrazu, Costa Rica.
Houkou River treatment Plant (Rio Jorco Micromill) is a micro-processing plant that has been passed down to the third generation, focusing on product quality and nature conservation. One of them, Grey Wolf Manor (Finca Los Lobos), won the Excellence Cup for many years. Houkou River treatment Plant (Rio Jorco Micromill) has perfect dry and wet treatment plants, which enables the quality of coffee to be well mastered in the production process. Of course, in addition to getting coffee fruits from their own estates, they also buy coffee fruits from other local producers.
Microbatches of their first cabinet were procured in Costa Rica in 2006 / 2007, and prior to that, microbatches were largely non-existent in the market. Over the next six years, however, Costa Rica's micro-batch market continued to grow substantially. Today, Costa Rica has become one of the most popular producing areas, providing very stable products every year. In Costa Rica, Caf é Imports is purchased directly from such micro-processing plants, and all producers can directly receive their due remuneration. Caf é Imports directly manages local logistics, drying plants, and the export of coffee, with perfect quality and cost control.
