Costa Rican coffee has a history of more than 200 years. It is not only an important basis for the country's economy and people's livelihood, but also an indispensable role in the global coffee history. In the past decade, Costa Rican coffee has become popular all over the world as a micro-processing farm. In this small Central American country, because of its special geographical environment, it has created a variety of boutique coffee with different flavors. The farmers here have perfect working conditions and production conditions, democratic and peaceful national conditions, strict labor laws, and an appropriate health care system. They are the first country in Central America that has no army at all. It is also the seat of the United Nations University for Peace.

The beans come from Brunca, a coffee-growing area in the remote mountains of Costa Rica, which, according to Linking Coffee international buyers, is about 150km southeast of the Costa Rican capital, San Jose, about three and a half hours' drive through a remote mountain area with an altitude of 3000ft 3400m, high enough to cause tinnitus and dizziness. The producer is the Finca La Guaca owned by the Mr. R é gulo family. It is said that the name of the manor is "Treasure". It is said that the local aborigines buried a number of treasures in this site a long time ago, but have not yet been found. It is named after it, with a little mystery and cultural significance connected with the ground. Treasure Manor, which began growing coffee about 30 years ago, is still managed by the owner Mr. R é gulo and his wife Isabel with four children, Ricardo, Mario and Esteban,Luis, and has its own Rivas micro-processing plant.
