Kenya is located in eastern Africa, the equator across the central region. It borders Somalia to the east, Tanzania to the south, Uganda to the west and Ethiopia to the north. Kenyan coffee beans have a wide variety of flavors, of which the most attractive is the change in acidity.

Karimikui Factory is part of the Rungeto Co-operative Society and is located in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya. Rungeto Co-operative Society is a group of three processing plants, Karimikui, Kii and Kiangoi. At the time of its establishment, it inherited most of the assets of the local famous cooperative after its dissolution. The Karimikui Factory started operations in 1997. Around 1,400 farmers produce about 745 tons of fresh coffee fruit annually.

The Karimiku treatment plant is very focused on quality and has quite perfect and strict standards. The adjacent Karimikui River is used as the main water source. After carefully selecting the ripe coffee fruit, the peel and pulp are removed and fermented in a tank to remove pectin. Finally, after washing with water, the coffee fruit is dried in the sun on an African trellis. In addition to processing coffee production, the treatment plant is also very environmentally friendly, and even built its own wastewater treatment system to produce high-quality coffee beans without polluting the environment.

Karimiku beans have rich flavors like citrus and dark plum, elegant acidity typical of Kenya, and most importantly, a sweet finish like sucrose that impresses everyone.
