The Burka Silinga treatment plant is a washing plant in the Yegashefi region of Ethiopia, which receives and processes coffee cherries from nearly 500 small farmers around it. The land of small farmers in this area is only about 2 hectares, so in addition to coffee, corn can also be grown to support a family. This treatment plant uses the traditional washing method, which takes 48 hours to ferment. Coffee beans with paper skins are spread on 100 coffee beds to dry on a large scale. Sewage treatment equipment has also been built in the nearby lagoon to filter and purify the treated water. When we did the first cup test, Yega drank rich grapefruit tea and the sweet flavor of white flowers, and immediately added the stock, so that everyone could have the opportunity to drink such excellent coffee.
