Eagle Manor (Finca El Aguila), which is currently run by Mauricio Ariz, has been run by the Ariz family for four generations. The estate is located in Cant ó n Ojo de Agua, which belongs to Chalchuapa district and Santa Ana province. The whole estate has 64 hectares, but the coffee-growing area is reserved for only 47 hectares.
The elevation of the Eagle Manor is very high, and it is about 1700 meters above the bourbon. There are many results in the picture. The sky above is very beautiful blue, and some of the cherry fruits have even just turned red. It is expected that the harvest will be close to the end of April. The temperature of the manor is quite low in the morning and evening, and it is common for clouds to drop slowly.
According to the owner, 38 hectares of Bourbon, 1 hectare of Pacas and Kenya and 7 hectares of Pacamara are planted in the 47-hectare coffee forest. Eagle Manor is quite high, averaging 1600 meters above sea level, between 1500 and 1720 meters. The soil is sandy sandy loam and sandy clay loam. The average annual temperature is 18 °C to 24 °C, the annual rainfall is 2250 mm, and there are two or three flowering stages.
The specific practices of Eagle Manor in planting and maintenance are worth introducing. The following seven points are the hard management mode of the manor:
1. Careful maintenance and management, planting 35 large lude Ingas Sp per hectare. And Copalchi as shade trees.
2. Soil analysis was carried out twice a year, and then the content and composition of fertilization were determined (50 per Manzana). Fertilization is 3
3. Artificial weeding and pruning.
4. Prevent insect pests manually and pay attention to the possibility of bacterial damage at any time.
5. Because the manor is located in the rainy and steep terrain at high altitude, the pruned branches and trees are used to "erosion control" to reduce and prevent soil erosion.
6, the flowering period, the beginning of fruit, pay close attention to the growth situation, and according to the best situation of cherries to be harvested manually.
7. Post-processing immediately after harvest on the same day.
When the Santa Ana volcano erupted in 2005, Eagle Manor was badly damaged. 8500 coffee trees were replanted by volcanic ash, acid rain and Cui's destruction. Coffee farmers in the area treated her with respect and awe. Santa Ana, a conical layered volcano, frightened many people in 2005, with falling rocks even bigger than cars, causing casualties among mountain residents and wreaking havoc on coffee farms in falling mud areas, such as Eagle Manor. After the creation, the manor actively cleaned up the soil and replanted coffee trees. Five years later, there was a rich recycling, and the annual harvest gradually returned to 800 bags. Although volcanoes bring damage, they have this excellent topography and climate because of volcanoes.
Mount Santa Ana is an important symbol of the Apaneca- Ilamatepec Mountains, which has to be pronounced in the local aborigines and sounds good.
