El Salvador boutique manor coffee beans San Leticia Manor Pacamara flavor and planting history?

Introduction:

Located in central Central America, with Honduras to the north, Guatemala to the west, Nicaragua to the east and El Salvador to the south of the Pacific Ocean, it is the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America. Coffee beans are the main agricultural products in most regions, and traditional bourbon trees are planted in 60% of the producing areas. In recent years, the Pacamara variety with bright sweet and sour fruit and solid texture (derived from the hybrid of Maragogipe and Pacas by coffee researchers in El Salvador in 1957) has become a trend and has achieved excellent performance in the COE competition one after another.

Located on the slope of 1400 meters above sea level in the Apaneca volcanic area of western El Salvador, the San Leticia Manor is geologically sandy and volcanic, with fertile soil; the warm and humid microclimate with an average annual temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and an average rainfall of more than 2000 mm is considered to be the best coffee-growing area in El Salvador. Apaneca means the stream of Rivers of Wind-- in the local Navat language (Nahuat). The 15-hectare archaeological area of the Mayan civilization is dotted with mounds, as well as large man-made platforms and three monuments with a big belly. The largest one weighs 21000 pounds and is a very representative and distinctive object in the area.

Francisco Menendez, an important promoter of the Salvadoran education system, founded the San Leticia estate at the end of 1870 and became president of El Salvador in 1886. The constitution drafted during his administration led the trend of freedom and democracy in Latin America; after his death on June 22nd, 1890, the people of the country designated June 22nd every year as Teachers' Day to commemorate him. Today, the estate is run by Ricardo and Mauricio Valdivieso, grandsons of Francisco Menendez. St. Leticia Manor is not only a coffee farm, thousands of trees are important for local biodiversity conservation, but also provide a beautiful habitat for transit migratory birds.
