How to make latte coffee by hand? If you simply want coffee + milk, recommend Mantelin or Mamba.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Have you been hearing this from clients lately?

Here are some simple highlights:

[[1.*** Finer grinding ***:]]

Finer coffee grinding for more complete extraction (about 2 - 2.5 nuclei)

[[2.*** Coffee to water ratio 1:10***]]

Start making coffee by hand (the ratio of coffee powder to hand is about 1:10 ~ 1:11), in other words, 10 grams of coffee powder will make about 100~110 grams of black coffee.

[[3.*** Slow water injection complete extraction ***]]

The way to make coffee by hand, the water should be injected more slowly, the temperature of about 90 degrees C should not be rushed too fast, and two to three times is OK.

[[4.*** The same amount of fresh milk as black coffee ***]]

The proportion of milk added is approximately equal to the proportion of black coffee, for example, 100 grams of black coffee is added to about 100 grams of fresh milk (can be adjusted according to personal preference)

There are many ways to make coffee by hand. After going to class, learn how to make it to the end. The miscellaneous smell of the latter part of the hand is successfully controlled, but the water column should be controlled very fine, which is quite tiring. But, the moment coffee is in your mouth, all the sour hands are worth it.

The coffee that comes out is dark in color. It will rub delicious sparks with milk bubbles later.

2. And then make the foam. We don't have a steam bubble machine at home, so it's okay, but there's a very useful tool called a double bubble cup that can do almost the same thing as high-pressure steam with a little effort. (The disadvantage is that it will produce more bubbles)

Pictured above is a 200c.c foam cup, the same one I use. First pour the milk of 200c.c, heat it to about 65 degrees C (heat it in a gas stove, or directly use an induction cooker), and then quickly pull the top, and the milk foam is finished.

The actual foam results were not bad either...

It's very dense ~ except for the big bubbles on the surface…if you pay attention to it, just scrape it off with a spoon, because it's just me and Lao Zhang at home, so I just shake the cup & tap the table to reduce the bubbles.

Okay... pour the foam into a coffee cup, it's a home made latte ~

Remarks:

1. If you want to pursue the feel of an espresso machine, you can use heavy roasted beans, plus stainless steel mesh filter cups to retain coffee esters, coffee taste will be more mellow.

2. Espresso is also available as an alternative-coffee balls. Japanese supermarket for sale. But it has a higher caffeine content and different reviews.

3. Make sure you use whole milk to make it frothy. Milk is easier to foam when heated, but if you want to make an iced latte, you can skip the heating process. But the foam isn't pretty.

4. My ratio is----coffee 100ml + fresh milk 100ml ------so I don't use latte cup or latte bowl, I use bone china cup with larger capacity at home, about 250c.c.

5. If you want to challenge pull flower, you can choose a pull flower cup with a pointed mouth.

6. Will not pull flowers, there is also a painting version, you can sprinkle different patterns of cocoa powder or cinnamon powder, very interesting.
