Arabica has an elegant flavor and is the main force of boutique coffee. The ancient native species of Arabica can be divided into two categories: Typica in Ethiopia and Bourbon in Yemen.

Tieka: it is the oldest native species in Ethiopia. Elegant flavor, but weak physique, easy to catch rust leaf disease, the result is not much, not in line with economic benefits. The beans are thin and pointed. It's like Lin Daiyu of the coffee world!

Bourbon: juxtaposed with iron pickup as an ancient and excellent variety. It can also distinguish between "round body bourbon" and "pointed body bourbon". The round bourbon is full of vitality, unlike the weak and sickly iron pickup, the round side wave has better resistance to rust leaf disease than the iron pickup, and the flavor is not the same as the iron pickup. The disadvantage is that coffee trees have to rest for a year.

Kaddura (Caturra)

It is a single gene variant of bourbon found in Brazil in the 1950s. It has better yield and disease resistance than bourbon, and the tree is shorter and easy to harvest. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as bourbon-- it ends up taking a year off for a year. The flavor is as good as bourbon beans.

But it is more adaptable, can be planted with high density, does not need shade trees, and can be vibrant in direct exposure to the sun, so it is also called "exposed coffee" (Sun Coffee).

Kaddura is suitable for high altitude areas from 700m to 1700 m, but the higher the altitude is, the better the flavor is, and the bean yield is relatively reduced.

Take [Qianjie Flower Butterfly] as an example, it contains a variety of Kaddura and Kaddura Kaduai, which is more mellow and with a hint of nutty flavor.
