Rwanda Rulindo Tumba the northern province of Rwanda coffee producing area, such as Lando.

150g

Test record: sweet candy, creamy, raspberry tea

This batch of coffee is produced by members of the COOPAC Cooperative, an association of about 2200 small coffee producers from the Rubavu and Rutsiro regions in the western provinces of Rwanda. The cooperative was established in 2001 to reshape the quality of coffee in the region and to create a sustainable form of income for its members.

COOPAC has invested in 50 water washing stations in the region and formed a benign land forestry and animal husbandry ecosystem where farmers can plant shade trees and dairy farming as an alternative source of income. COOPAC also has a comprehensive technical assistance program to help members practice organic farming on their farms. Since 2008, excellent results have been achieved in the one Cup of Excellence in Rwanda.

Rwanda Coffee Rulindo Tumba

The best coffee cherries (which make up this batch of coffee) are dried in a special raised bed area and carefully selected by farmers. Tumba is located in Rulindo District, 1825 meters above sea level.

This product from Tumba shows the sweetness of the preserves in the cup, the delicacy of fruit and tea, and the bright acidity, providing an amazing structure for complex cup features.

Cupping notes:

Tumba sweets are sweet with butterscotch aromas, iced raspberry tea, dried cranberries, blackcurrants, squeezed oranges, etc. The heavy in dark barbecue can be roasted in hue. It is also a great single origin espresso.
